Jeff Zapata's rough (based on Jon Marshall's original concept) contains all of the elements which make up the final "Snoritos" image. Zapata's notes in the margins suggest replacing the sleeping figure that he sketched with a Mexican character wearing a sombrero.

As suggested in the rough's margin notes, artist Tom Bunk replaced Zapata's figure with a more cartoonish Mexican character who exhales chips as he snores. The line "Nachozzz's Flavor" suggests that the "Nacho Cheesier!" variety of Doritos, found in a red bag, is the subject of the parody; however the background of the parody's chip bag is painted blue, in the style of Dorito's "Cooler Ranch!" (Though had it been painted red, the title would have strongly resembled ANS1's "Sneez-It.")

The Topps Vault sold the finished art for "Snoritos" for $2,375.00 in an eBay auction which ran from August 24-31, 2005.
